Supporting Teenagers in Trouble & Transition
From our mountain base above Lac Leman, Switzerland, we provide essential support to families and schools dealing with students in crisis. Whether a child or teenager is transferring out of boarding school or facing suspension, sanctions, or exclusion, we are here to help. Our services include coaching, suspension hosting (temporary or short-term housing), and referrals to our partner specialists or programs, but most importantly, we provide a calming and experienced voice with experience and good judgement to guide a struggling young person, and their family and careers, through a challenging time.
TCS (Transition Centre Suisse) - we provide suspension hosting or midway housing when a child needs to remain in Switzerland or is progressing to another programme. This service led by Angie McMillan. With over a decade of experience helping hundreds of students in our region, Angie is one of the most-trusted resources for families. She provides a safe and supportive environment where your loved one can reflect, rest, and recharge whilst they begin a reinvention.
We also offer OCS (Outdoor Centre Suisse) programs, providing bespoke experiences tailored to each student’s needs, including personal growth coaching, outdoor trekking, fitness training, and a number of other individual activities. Our boot camps for troubled teenagers (including programs for screen addiction) also run throughout the year and are delivered by experienced local, regional, and global partners who provide a positive supportive community for teens and their families and carers. Our alpine setting provides the perfect environment for building lifelong skills and confidence and everything we do at OCS impacts habit formation and attitude adjustment.
